The rooms are spacious and the hotel plot is big. Its decor has some style, with some vintages clothes and items on display in the hall. Some sheeps grazed on the grassland outside my room window and it's fun to see them there. Breakfast was good.

Definitely a memorable experience and would even dare to say, a mandatory stop on your Icelandic roadtrip. Not only was the breakfast the best food we had in Iceland with a great variety of fresh dishes, the location of the hotel is unique (our room had a view to the lush green mountains that are incredibly scenic), the staff was extremely kind and attentive (with a special shout out to the Portuguese gentleman) and facilities makes you stay for a longer period of time (i.e., Spa, thermal baths, ice showers and relaxation rooms overlooking the glaciers and giving an great sense of calmness and relaxation). Great staff and breakfast amaizing, comfy beds. Excelent if you travel south. It has a lot of rooms our group was for 16 people and we all get our rooms together.

Everything was as in pictures and description. Very clean, nice and comfortable place to stay. Check-in & check-out was very smooth. Host was very proactive and gave timely/useful instructions. Recommended to stay here and for sure will stay again next time.
