The Hotel Sovestro is a lovely family ran hotel, all the staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. It was one of the cleanest hotelsI I have ever stayed in, amazing for a 3-star rated hotel. The breakfast was an Italian style breakfast, all the cakes and pastries, you would expect. But also, the cold meat, cheeses and eggs were plentiful and excellent. There was also a good variety of fruit, nuts and yogurts. The breakfast was excellent. There is a shuttle minibus that runs at certain times from the hotel to San Gimignano I would be happy to stay in Hotel Sovestro again.

extremely friendly staff. they answered all our questions and let us keep our bags downstairs before checkin. allowed us to come back from time to time to see if the room was ready early. we ended up having an incredibly room with a fantastic view over the country side. highly recommend!

    Beautiful house and pool in a private location that isn't overlooked. Close to San Gimiganao (15 mins by car). Our hosts provided information on local supermarkets and restaurants on our arrival. They also provided olive oil and wine (not free but very good value) as they are local producers. First choice if we are back in the area.
