Area is fabulous. Hotel trying to charge for pool/spa . They put us in one of their old rooms. Which was not worth the fee. I don’t know why they did that we were one of the few guests that had booked in all week .I thought that was pretty poor of them . The hotel did not inform booking.com there was a fee for using the pool. Pretty mean all round . They knew we not happy and they simply did not care. We didn't visit any of the other small network of towns around Badia, however Corvara seemed the right mix of small town charm and big enough to have a variety of restaurants. Corvara is an ideal base for exploring this spectacular region. Multiple ski lifts afford easy access to countless hiking trails. The village is very clean and well maintained. Plenty of bar and restaurant options. Local busses shuttle between nearby villages and lift stations. Numerous e-bike rental outlets.
