I’m pretty sure it is the best hotel in Genova. Have stayed there twice and it was really good experience. The location is excellent - on the border of old city center on the small square. The building’s been renovated and it looks totally new. Design is amazing - very stylish but not too modern so you can feel Ligurian atmosphere as well. Rooms are good equipped, beds and pillows are perfect, there are black out curtains which is very important for me personally. Breakfasts are really good for Italy if you know what I mean.) But the most important thing that makes this place special is people. Everyone was so hospitable and they really want to make your stay perfect. Especially I’d like to mention Oksana. She helped me with all my requests, was very patient and polite. And in general the way she communicates with the guests proves that she is very experienced high professional. If I’m in Genova again - I’d stay in Astoria again for sure.

This is by far the best hotel in Genova! A beautifully restored Palazzo with great attention to detail…..Everything is done with impeccable taste and quality. The staff are attentive, personable and make your stay extremely comfortable! The two reception staff are especially fantastic!!! If your budget allows, I would highly recommend staying at Palazzo Durazzo!

Our experience on Palazzo Grillo was exquisite! The building where the hotel is located is beautiful, and lovely decorated, and the facilities, really remind Roman architecture with beautiful, great taste. We got a transfer taxi from the airport which was lovely, he was very welcome and brought us literally inside the hotel, a great experience. The hotel arranged everything and they are very punctual. The staffs at reception are friendly and very respectful. The housekeeping was excellent as well, she tidied our room even though our first night in there. The room: It is very spacious, we had a view of the patio to the church and it was great. Big room and decoration once again fantastic, comfortable beds, great shower, and water pressure. Location: it was literally 5 minutes to most of the main attractions in the city, and we loved it. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Genoa.
