The aera north of Lecce might not be the most attractive part of Puglia, but the location is actually strategic, close to Lecce, and close to wonderful beaches on both the Adriatic and the Ionic seas. The staff is super welcoming, fluent in English, and very helpful if you are looking to go to a restaurant or a nice beach

The breakfast was outstanding, from the setting, the music (we had live violin music one day then a harpist the next), to the variety of delicious food. The hoyel is stunningly beautiful, and the location could not be better. The staff was always super friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Expectations were already high, and they exceeded them, definitely a highlight of our honeymoon.
