Absolutely great accommodation, we were glad we decided to go 2 km from Via Francigena route. This is how I imagine the real Italian countryside. The room was beautiful, the bathroom superbly equipped. The owner was great, friendly and helpful. We asked her if she could prepare dinner for us and although she doesn't offer this as standard, she obliged and prepared a wonderful dinner full of Italian home-made delicacies. She was also prepared for a gluten free diet. Breakfast was also excellent including a delicious cappuccino. It was GREAT!

This stay was a treat! We stayed here with my friends on our pilgrimage on Via Francigena. It was a total relaxing papradise. Unfortunatelly we arrived on a day, when the restaurant was closed. But the owner drove us to the closest town to a nice restaurant and then came pick us up! The servise was absolutely outstanding. Also its just about half kilometer to get back to the trail from there. The rooms are cozy, the shared breakfest/relax area is well designed and breakfast was generous. Def recommended!

First off Marco and Paola were exceptional hosts. I was traveling with my mom and two of her friends, all three are in their 80's. Marco and Paola were so welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The breakfast was amazing, especially the cappuccino. We enjoyed the fresh breads and pastries, the jams, yogurts and juices. There was a little noise from the street, as the hotel was directly on a well traveled road, but it was not an issue at night as our rooms faced the back of the hotel. Marco was more than helpful with advice or answering any questions we had. The hotel was a short walk to the train station and to the center of town. There were plenty of restaurant and cafe choices in town.

This was an excellent property, beautiful location with an excellent modern interior. The real beauty of this accommodation was the staff. Not only did they offer to give me lifts into town (after a long day of walking on the Via Francigena)but they also were happy to take me back to the route the next morning. I’d like to thank them for their kindness and generosity.
