This property and the people working it are truly special. I traveled throughout all of Italy and this location and estate is my favorite. The hospitality was top notch and the accommodations were impeccable. Our host Marina, made our trip one to remember. Out of the busyness of Florence and yet an easy public transport bus from grassina if you're happy to walk 15 minutes, or a 20 minute car journey if you prefer. This place was paradise, and the owners were excellent. I will return here again and I'd like to thank the staff for everything they did, I do not have a single complaint to make. The pool is beautiful and overlooks the fields around. Would recommend a car as the property is about a 15 minute drive from Florence but also meant we could explore the local area. The hosts are very welcoming and were always on hand. The pool is a really good size so you can actually swim rather than just bob around in it and then view is typically charming Tuscan countryside. Not a whole lot going on in Grassina. You would definitely need a car, but we did get the bus into Florence from the town (only €1.50 each way) one of the days, you just need to plan your return trip.
