The staff ! Evrybody is really nice, specially the owner who remembers you each days to make you have the best moment at diner or breakfast. And of course the swimming pool and the view. We had 2 differents rooms, one with view on the lake and another with view on the montain. Both were very pleasant. Rooms are big !

Outstanding Location. Right in the middle of the square with a beautiful Lake Como View. Just a few minutes walk away to the ferry station to go to all the major provinces like Bellagio and Varenna. Also just a few steps away from.pticate boat tour. Excellent rooms..Excellent Staff!

The breakfast was fantastic! I was especially happy to see not only pastries, but also fresh vegetables, eggs, cold cuts, and a nice variety of fruits. The area is peaceful and the location is great for exploring Menaggio.

Everything was great. It is a nice, small, simple hotel around 15 minutes from the ferry and 10 to reach the Menaggio centre. We had the full breakfast (10€ per person) and it was a great decision - scrambled eggs freshly made with bacon, cappuccino, tea, juices, some musli with fruits and yogurt, bread making station (toaster, bread, butter, cheese, some sliced meat, jams and Nutella), there were some pastries and cookies as well. Highly recommend it for simple breakfast with a great view. The room had what we needed, the bed was comfortable and the view from balcony was great.

It was a great apartment that had everything we needed. Clear check in instructions. The location is very central. Great restaurants are just a few steps from the place. Super comfy bed. Warm apartment during winter time (late December). Cool design details. Nice promenade and cafes all just outside of the house.

    Loved Menaggio - the location is right on Lake Como - plenty...

    Loved Menaggio - the location is right on Lake Como - plenty of eating options and all in easy walking distance. Prking is an issue though - in August anyway. Everyone in the town is very friendly. Having the ferry service at Menaggio is useful for getting easily to other towns on the Lake - much quicker than driving.

    Lovely town on Lake Como well located for visiting the central lake area using the regular ferries. We were able to visit Varenna, Bellagio and Lenno very easily and quickly. The town itself had character with a nice lively central piazza with lots of restaurants and a promenade, all only 5 minutes walk from the ferry port. Regular bus service around the lake enabled us to easily get to Como on departure to catch a train back to Milan.

    It's a beautiful town, but rather small, with limited options for children and adults. Our 8-year old daughter was bored after one day. We booked for 3 nights, but probably 1-2 days max would have been enough. We rented a boat and explored the lake, which I highly recommend. Shopping options are few. My wife had hoped to find a nice dress, there were only a couple of shops available. You have a few good restaurants, but it's also rather limited. Again, fine for 1-2 nights, but no longer. It's also not a great place to stay and visit surroundings, as traffic is bad to get in and out of the town center. You do have free parking in spots, but you need to get lucky, ideally arriving very early morning or very late at night.

    The most stunning location and the best town to stay in...

    The most stunning location and the best town to stay in while in lake como. Not to overcrowded with tourists and easy to access other towns via the ferry. We travelled to lots of local towns and felt Menaggio stood out as the best overall.

    Menaggio is a well located town with all the facilities you would need and the ability to get around the lake and visit attractions. There are a good selection of restaurants as well as an accessible ferry port. It's mostly flat around the town, whereas some locations on Como are immediately very steep away from the lake. Menaggio is at the bottom of a large hiking and biking trail that goes all the way up to the top of the lake. It utilises the old road a rail lines that follow the lake shore and is absolutely beautiful and rarely interacts with traffic. I walked 5 miles out of town on it and wish I'd had a bike as I would love to have gone much further. If you have or rent a bike around here you will do well.

    Lake Como is very beautiful, with the surrounding mountains and plenty of nice villages to visit. Menaggio had a very particular atmosphere, it could come directly from a movie. Prices of food (restaurants) and drinks (bars) are rather elevated, that is an aspect to take into account.

    The hosts Tobias and Benedikte were fabulous, so helpful and really made us feel welcome. The location of the property is a steepish 15-20 minute walk up the hill from Menaggio but the reward is the views offered of Lake Como - in particular the Pizzeria just a couple of minutes walk further up - sensational views of the Lake, Bellagio, Varenna etc as you dine.

    We really liked the location of this hotel. It’s about a 20 min walk from Menaggio, but the walk to the city is on a path with lake views and the hotel is right on the water in a more quiet area. Plus you cannot beat the price compared to other places on Lake Como!

    Lovely view of lake Como from the room. The room was clean and spacious. It is a 15 minutes walk from the city centre and 3-4 floors to climb uphill to get to the building but, in return, you get the view and a calmer surrounding area
