This is an ancient Italian small town that has experienced a revival. Most of the residents are Italians (unlike other towns in the area which are mostly tourist accommodation). There are many excellent restaurants and bars within walking distance and a very impressive Roman museum. I recommend a walk or cycle in the surrounding countryside (as many residents do). There is a huge, lively park in the proximity. In the morning you can buy pastry at a nearby bakery or go for a coffee and breakfast outside. The historic center is full of life - you can choose from a variety of restaurants and ice cream shops. There was even a free exhibition our kids loved.
