Staying at Villa Shmitanka is a fantastic experience! The views, garden, pool, the house, the rooms are top quality. And above that, the hospitality of the lovely owners Merav and Dror is from another world. I strongly advice to have dinner at the Villa Shmitanka: Merav is the best “chef” in the world, and would easily get 3* Michelin. The staff! There was a bit of confusion around our reservation (we booked very late in the day for a pit stop) and they went above and beyond to make it right. The contact was warm and helpful! The property is beautiful and the rooms were clean and tidy.

We stayed only one night but the location is magnificent, on top of the hill, away from the noice of the streets. Very beautiful landscape for breakfast in the terrace. The owners are kind and friendly. The rooms clean and comfy A 30 mins walk can lead you to the lake ruffino, and also in 10 mins by car you can arrive at good restaurants in the proximity of the lake.

The place is really nice, very peaceful at night, location on top of a hill gives it a charm. Everything was smooth, from payment to arrival there and also when saying goodbye. The woman who is running the place is very kind and helpful, she took a lot of time to explain me about the area and the monutains. A nice experience. Grazie mille!
