Such a stunning villa with spectacular views. Louise makes this a home away from home providing extra personal touches. The villa is situated in a local village away from all the busyness of tourists, yet accessible to all the local towns and hotspots. The villa is situated on a beautiful walking path and the village has a bar and supermarket. This was a tranquil retreat and a special place. We will definitely return!

We found the property incredibly tidy with a stunning view. All appliances and furniture were modern with a lovely interior finish. The host had great communication throughout and all check in/out instructions were very clear. All in all a lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend/return!

The Instructions on how to access the property were very clear and concise. Our host was very helpful, particularly when I had an Alzheimer's moment and could not work out how to use the shower, our host responded promptly to my silly enquiry. The owner also gave us tips on the area as well. The apartment was very spacious and extremely well equipped with all utensils needed, The complimentary bottle of bubbles was enjoyed on the balcony watching the sunset over the lake. The bus stop was very close by, as were a deli/mini mkt/butchery, and a great little bar called Peppo's bar, where the drinks are very affordable and you don't feel like you're being ripped off by tourist prices. The locals in this village we ever so friendly. Id happily come and stay here again

OH MY GOODNESS!!! Our last six days in Lake Como were a dream come true. We were incredibly fortunate to stumble across La Luna Como at the end of our adventure in Italy and words alone are not to enough to express our appreciation for all the comforts the Villa, the property and Debbie provided us, their last minute unexpected guests. We were incredibly fortunate to stumble across La Luna Como at the end of our adventure in Italy. We booked our room just an hour before our arrival, having had to cancel our intended stay on the other side of Lake Como due to extremely loud road construction just outside our room right as we were checking in. We booked La Luna Como and immediately drove over. What a warm welcome we received from Debbie, our hostess, she is a gem! The trip down the two level elevator alone was worth the price of admission! We were at end of season, therefore had the Villa and the entire property all to ourselves and we are now forever spoiled. The location of the Villa is literally right on the water with garden seating scattered across the property. We were lucky enough to have one last warm day and took out the kayak and paddle board. The view from our bedroom was unsurpassed, our bed was amazingly comfortable, the bathtub was glorious and the kitchen is a chef's dream! The Villa is spacious and combines what one expects from a grande villa on the lake with the amenities and comfort of modern day living. The ferry stop for Pognana Lario is a five minute walk along the water, very convenient for our day into Como. We had already explored the middle of Lake Como, so spent our last days just relaxing at the Villa, enjoying the peace and quiet, trying to slow down time so we wouldn't ever have to leave. Thank you, Debbie, for allowing us a most memorable stay at La Luna Como.

The location of the villa was perfect. The parking was easy to find, and all the instructions and information provided were clear and helpful. Entry to both the apartment and the garage worked flawlessly. The view was absolutely beautiful, and the apartment was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. Everything worked perfectly. Highly recommended!

    Pognana Lario is located in a peaceful area with only a 30 minute bus ride to the active, vibrant city of Como. The streets are incredibly narrow so a large vehicle is not recommended. The scenery is breathtaking. The bus also travels to Bellagio, another stunning area with amazing food and wine. Recommend trying wine at Enoteca Principessa in Bellagio. Huge selection of wines and wine sampling offered by charming owners.

    Amazing view! Very nice apartment – comfy and stylish. It has everything you need for a great stay: kitchen appliances, a fully equipped bathroom, a very comfortable bed, and THE VIEW from both panoramic windows… simply stunning! The apartment is also close to a nice beach area – so close that you can even use the WiFi there. In addition, there is a ferry boat station and a rental boat dock just nearby.

    Breathtaking views with our own slice of lake Como to ourselves. Located right on the main road and really close to a local bar/restaurant and little supermarket as well as bus stop which made it super convenient. The house has the beautiful aesthetic of an Italian home and the balcony is great to dine in and enjoy a vino or two while watching the sunset.
