Lake Maggiore is beautiful, lots of places to visit...
Lake Maggiore is beautiful, lots of places to visit including Isola Bella, Madre and Pescatore, Cannobio, Santa Caterina, the funivia at Laveno, were either a short drive away or you could catch a ferry to get there easily. But in Arolo there were restaurants and cafes within walking distance, some right on the lake without it being too touristy and busy- can recommend Kactus cafe 2.0!Guest review byLucyUnited Kingdom - 8.0
We had a brilliant room on the top floor (there is a lift)...
We had a brilliant room on the top floor (there is a lift) with a balcony and fantastic views over the lake. The Hotel itself is clean and its staff/owners very helpful and attentive. It was nice once we arrived to be able to leave the car and just relax. The hotel booked us a supper at a very pleasant local restuarant not 100 metres from it and we had a wonderful time.Guest review byhowardUnited Kingdom
