Great location, super close to the colosseum and the Trevi fountain. The tram to the Trastevere district is a 5 minute walk away. The rooms are well sized and stylishly furnished. The staff are also incredibly helpful, whether it’s booking a taxi or attractions or tips on where to eat, they’re always there to help. The views of the colosseum and the Vittoriano from the rooftop bar are also spectacular.

    Very nice city.

    Very nice city. You can find here the ancient Rome and the core of the christening. Most of the churches can visited free. The restaurants are amazing, if you want to want a delicious Italian food. The public transport is fine. The underground is good, but on the buses sometimes show the different itinerary then the bus's number.

    We met some nice people.

    We met some nice people. But it is a money grabbing cultural kitsch theme park for nitwits. Go to Asia. For 150 euros a night expect very little. Though if you go out to farnesina, ponte milvio, etc you have a better chance, and hey you don't see rats in your building vestibule over there.

    Even though I have been four times, I keep coming back!

    Even though I have been four times, I keep coming back! Rome is amazing! There is such a lovely feeling here, aside from the amazing history and all the sights, the Vatican and the art- oh to see the Caravaggio's! the gelato, tiramisu, pizza, squid ink pasta, .... The sites still amaze me every time. My list of places to see is so long, much to see on the outskirts as well.

    Rome was never a dream, but it surprised me in ways I didn't expect! I'm a history buff, and I was enchanted by every corner I passed. Not only by the great and famous monuments, but every street, no matter how small, made my eyes shine and made me want to return to the Eternal City many more times.

    This is one of the wonders of the world and history. Unfortunately smog has taking over it and so have the crowds; I went in mid August 2025. I recommend you visit in early Spring or late September.

    If your trip is to see historical places, that's great !

    If your trip is to see historical places, that's great ! But after walking for a few hours around, you may need to eat something, where pizza, pasta, or gelato may be good one or 2 days after, it's no choice because you are not in Greece, but for most of the rest of us, you may be surprised how they are still fit after all of that.

    This is definitely a rare find! The staff treated us like we were kings and queens and the bed was extra comfortable and the best part of our stay was the breakfast! In all of my trips to Italy, I have never eaten italian cornetti (croissant) that were that good! I’m always traveling for work and it is the first time that I can say that a hotel is definitely cheaper than what they should actually charge! I really recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Rome!

    Quiet, traditional hotel close to the colosseum, great staff, amazing breakfast, Francesca is amazing in proving help and replying to all questions. I am a frequent visitor to Rome for many years (twice a year), and usually stay at Trastevere or Campo dei Fiori, this time for new years I decided to stay at Lancelot, also because I am a travel designer specialist in Italy, and I am always testing new hotels for my clients. Lancelot will be in my list of hotels.

    This was the best place we stayed in Italy. Nice and new, modern and contemporary. Felt extremely clean, comfortable beds and we were lucky enough to have a view of Piazza Venezia from our room. Great location, we walked everywhere and didn’t have to use public transport once. Plus the breakfast! Pietro really went the extra mile to make breakfast each morning that bit special. Will definitely be back when we return to Rome.

    The room was simply gorgeous - soo spacious exceptionally clean and truly 5 stars! It was luxury and the bed the best we had across our 4 weeks in Italy! The location was good - easy to get busses everywhere or walk! The suites are super close to many beautiful restaurants and the lady that welcomed us was delightful. We would stay here again in a heart beat! Oh and the view from our room across Rome was perfect!
