Scafati is Pompei's less touristy, slightly dirtier cousin.
Scafati is Pompei's less touristy, slightly dirtier cousin. The main street near Parco Wenner is just lovely - amazing cafetteria (Cafetteria Ricciardi) and bakery/deli - but the area around the train station is a little sketchy. But all that said, we walked back from Pompei at 10pm at night and didn't feel in any danger at all, lots of young people out and about.Guest review byTonyAustralia - 8.0

Hotel was lovely and hotel restaurant very good. The area isn't particularly beautiful although you can easily walk out into the agricultural areas which are picturesque. Easy to travel around by train once you get the hang of it. Not many taxis in Scafati.Guest review byDeborahUnited Kingdom
