We liked the spacious apartment - it was clean and the kitchen was equipped well, appreciated the balcony and the huge terrace. We stayed during off-season, so the whole village was rather empty, which we liked (less noise, no parties, only locals), but during high season it must be bustling and pulsing. Car is an absolute must - parking is possible in the street. Two bedrooms with blinds is a plus, and we really liked the great photo book about Puglia in the living room. TV - we didn't use, WiFi was strong. Clean linen and towels, garbage is sparated which I appreciate very much. There is a coffee machine with a few capsules but... well, I like my coffee from an italian espresso machine (which we didn't have). But that's not a big deal, you can buy coffee in the cafes. The host (Giuseppe) is very connected and will help you with your questions. In general a very good place to stay for a reasonable price.

This was very good price and I got a room with terrace and direct sea view. So at night I can hear weaves. Hotel stuff is very nice and helpful. In the price you got very good breakfast. Mostly Italian style - sweet, but you can find also a bit of other things. With good coffee. Breakfast is served on 4th floor with even better sea view. Rooms are clean and cleaned every day. AC works perfect. Hotel has a private beach.

Relais is an absolute gem nestled in the heart of the vineyards. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful atmosphere and stunning surroundings. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, with every detail carefully thought out to enhance comfort and relaxation. The outdoor areas are simply stunning. There’s a beautiful pool surrounded by palm trees with breathtaking views over the vineyards – a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The property is set in a wonderfully restored old Masseria, where the historic character has been preserved while incorporating stylish, modern comforts. There are also thoughtfully placed saunas overlooking the vineyards, offering a truly unique and relaxing experience. Parking is easy and convenient right on the property. The communal spaces are warm and welcoming, with a sense of understated luxury. With only a limited number of rooms, the entire experience felt very private and exclusive – like a true hidden escape. What truly sets this place apart is the staff – incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The whole experience is peaceful, intimate, and unforgettable. One final note: the photos on Booking.com don’t do this place justice. As nice as they look online, the real thing is even more beautiful in person. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a luxurious yet down-to-earth setting. We can’t wait to return.

    Villa Ranieri is a delightful place to stay as it’s just across the road and down the steps and you are at the very safe beach. Francesco the owner was an excellent host who was more than helpful and did everything to ensure our holiday was perfect – I would be very happy to return any time. The house is very clean and well-presented with everything you need for a relaxing stay – the patio area outside is charming and the outside warm shower is ideal for showering off at a day at the beach. We were there in mid-September so it was out of season which meant a lot of things were shut which suited us fine as it was so quiet and peaceful, we practically had the beach for ourselves. We had two bikes available to use which was ideal for exploring the local area and it meant that we could cycle along the lungomare to Torre San Gennaro to shop at the little supermarket – as we did not hire a car this was ideal. Francesco also picked us up from the airport and took us back plus he kindly picked us up one day to take us to San Pietro di Vernotico where we took the train to visit Lecce (the local bus stopped running at the end of August). He also contacted us to make sure we were able get back from San Pietro di Vernotico and offered to phone a taxi for us as he himself was busy – his concern for his guests’ was amazing. Having cycled along the coast to Casalabate I thought Campo did Mare, and its closeness to Torre San Gennaro, was the nicest place to stay. I felt our day here gave us more of a feel of Italian life than Lecce, though beautiful, was so busy with tourist. What more can I say - Villa Ranieri is perfect.
