Very quiet and spacious, clean and modern room. (Not sure why some reviews said it was noisy. It was as quiet as a monk's retreat!) We didn't have a car but the hotel picked and dropped us off at the airport. We rented bikes from the hotel and cycled to some amazing beaches. Restaurants within walking distance and bus stop right there. Enjoyed shopping at the gift shop. I was sad to leave. Limited English but they tried hard to communicate and with their English skills and Google translate, it wasn't a problem. Highly recommend this place.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained. While it may appear a little far from the city center on the map, the city is small, and it’s within walking distance of all the main attractions, with a bus stop right outside. The staff are extremely helpful and kind. I arrived early on a very hot day, and they went out of their way to let me into my room ahead of time, even though the hotel’s automated check-in system normally doesn’t allow it. Their efforts saved me a lot of trouble and made my stay much more comfortable. I truly appreciate their kindness.

The owner runs the place alone, but he still went all the way to the airport to pick me up. Despite my very limited Japanese ability, we were able to communicate quite well.. But the most important thing was he helped me rent a small scooter that I surely would not be able to rent without a local person vouching for me. This made my Amami trip really unforgettable and I'm forever grateful for the help I have received here! Also the evening of tasting local shōchū and stargazing was amazing. I will be back!

We had a wonderfull stay at Mijora Beachfront. The view from the room was stunning! The bathroom is amazing. Room with kitchen has everything you need. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some time at the pool and visited a lot of different beaches. The island is not touristy which we liked a lot. Location is perfect.
