Rooms are renovated in Japanese style and I loved it. Views are impressive. Taken the first coffee facen the Fuji in your room is a total experience. The staff was so nice. And I highly recommend the dinner in the hotel!!!

Everything was perfect all throughout our stay! A short walk from the station, the check-in was super smooth with the staff speaking rather good English. Then we arrived in our room: huge space and patio with a view on the Mt. Fuji?!! Private and enormous bath, all amenities provided, you only need to relax and enjoy. A lot of tiny details that make the difference: the name on the door, the tea ceremony experience, the incredibly kind staff. Thank you to all the team for showing us Japanese hospitality!

This hotel experience is phenomenal! The room is spacious and very clean. The staff is very attentive and very polite. The location is great if you want to explore mount Fuji with less crowd as the hotel is located in the residential area so less touristy compare to a lot of places around. Overall 10/10. Would love come back again soon.

Had a very nice stay for two. Very nice and hospitable staff. We had booked two days but could only be there for one day because of sickness. In response, the hotel refunded us one night which they did not have to do. Very kind! Very clean and comfortable.

The hotel is super. The staff is very friendly and helpful with big smile . we arrived early and requested whether we could leave our suitcases at hotel in order to explore the lake and surroundings easily . The staff said yes without any hesitation. she also gave us town map and explained bus/boat/ropeway information. immediately we felt very warm welcome. The buffet breakfast is the best. Onsen is very comfortable. If we visit Fujikawaguchiko again we would definitely stay here.

    Ropeway and boat trip was good.

    Ropeway and boat trip was good. We hired bikes from Jays as they shut later than the others and went to the Chureito Pagoda, Fujisan World Heritage Center, and then cycled round the lake stopping at Kawaguchiko Music Forest Museum, Oishi Park and Yamanashi Gem Museum.

    Fujikawaguchiko is nice and quiet place, but little bit...

    Fujikawaguchiko is nice and quiet place, but little bit boring. No nightlife, or great restaurants. Walking trails and roads overgroving with weeds. The town has lake, but no place to swim. City maitenance is poor. Connections with other places difficult. Public transport nonexistant. No hiking possibilities in the Japan Alps.

    Apart from what I have already said.

    Apart from what I have already said. I would like to say the reception staff were brilliant. They helped us with rooms that we hadn’t booked and when we needed an extra night they kept us in mind and as soon as there was a cancellation, they got us 2 rooms. Honestly for the price, the location I was expecting a Hostal. But this was above my expectations. But please don’t be expecting a 5 star hotel, be realistic

    Highly recommend.

    Highly recommend. Getting to the town from Tokyo was relatively straight forward and getting around the town itself using the sightseeing bus was good too. We were lucky enough to stay at this town during the summer firework festival and the event was great to experiece.

    Great view room and outdoor bath.

    Great view room and outdoor bath. Great onsen with seperate ladies area. Hard pillow neck hurt. Lousy check in asked to use iPhone QR code for all Info. Smaller than expected room and bed. Hard to sleep 2 people in bed. Food is not good best to eat out of hotel. Have to walk 20-30 minutes downhill to restaurants below. Be prepared to hire taxi if handicapped to leave hotel. No Lunch available.

    magnificient! the view of mount fuji is awesome

    magnificient! the view of mount fuji is awesome from the place we stay is walkable to lake kawaguchi. as muslim family we walk to the mosque (kawaguchi) & found a halal eating place (quite a walk but nice walking through the serene neighbourhood (we used google map) however, the place to eat is limited but we make do with lawson-kawaguchiko & 7-11, so no complaint👍

    The hotel location is great – even though there’s no direct view of Mt. Fuji, it’s only about a 20-minute walk to one of the best viewing spots by Lake Kawaguchiko. The staff were very friendly and helpful. While the service may not reflect the typical high standards of a traditional ryokan, they genuinely did their best to accommodate guests. The buffet meals were good – although they describe it as a “Western breakfast,” there were plenty of Japanese options available for both breakfast and dinner.

    Awesome stay in a traditional-style Japanese hotel. The rooms provided a really authentic feel and had great views both of Mt Fuji and of the lake. The breakfast was nice with a great variety of dishes available. But wow, the highlight was the dinner. We were served in a private room for groups, and our server (M) was incredible - very friendly and patient and always went out of her way to help us and explain things, even if there was occasionally some gap in language.

    The hotel itslef is beautiful, it's an authentic Japanese gem in front of the lake. The Room was great: big and spacious (most spacious we had during our trip!) and with traditional Japanese tatami and futons, which we found comfortable. The onsen was a great bonus, though the water was too hot in my opinion, but it was still nice to soak after a long day. The location is perfect to explore the lake area and see the Fuji-san.

    We enjoyed our stay and we’re surprised with the incredible views of Mt Fuji! I woke up early for the sunrise with a perfect view. It was close to restaurants and was a great stay for the 1 night we had in Fujikawaguchiko. We stayed in one of the rooms with views of Fuji. I would recommend this hotel, the facilities were great and we had a good sleep.
