Stayed one night, departing to see Mt. Fuji the next morning. I had a single room, that was on the smaller side but didn't cause any issues. Toilet and sink in the room, but shower stalls are down the hall hostel style. There is a lot included complimentary including an excellent buffet breakfast, towel, toiletries, and access to washer/dryer with detergent. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was extremely polite and had great customer service. It is a short 7 minute walk from Mishima Station, but be careful because there aren't really sidewalks.

Close to the mishima station and restaurants, the hotel provides a delicious breakfast and the staff is nice and helpful. The onsen were amazing! The supplementary massage service was a blast !! Affordable and wonderful!

    Most people head to the Sky Walk, but if you want to avoid...

    Most people head to the Sky Walk, but if you want to avoid the crowds and view some lovely scenery head to Yamanaka Castle Ruins. The paths meander past pine groves and various ancient trees and seemingly go on forever. I wish I'd had more time to fully explore the area.

    It was small city about 100k people.

    It was small city about 100k people. The draw to the city was Sky Walk suspension bridge. There are no metro’s so transportation is by bus as well as taxis. A nice town away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and Osaka.

    Mishima was a stopover for our travel between Kawaguchiko...

    Mishima was a stopover for our travel between Kawaguchiko and Kyoto. We took a 80 min coach ride from Kawaguchiko to Mishima Station. It was convenient to get on the Shinkansen to Kyoto the next day. We did not go around Mishima but you can still see Mt Fuji from Mishima Station.

    I really liked the walk shower instead of the usual shower over the bath that I find is usual in Japanese hotels. Loved the breakfast box, simple, tasty, enough to get us on our way. Coffee or a cold drink in the foyer very welcoming. Situated only a short walk from station. Four pillows and a cushion were good for watching tv from the bed.

    This was a last minute booking for us when our Shinkansen delay meant we needed somewhere to stay in Mishima at the last minute. It was a perfectly satisfactory hotel and room. We were comfortable and had everything we needed.

    There was a good selection for breakfast. Located 5 minutes from railway station and bus hub.The room was a decent size and the bed was very comfortable. All round, very happy with our stay at hotel Showmeikan.
