This is the place you are dreaming of! We were looking for something special to end our honeymoon trip to Japan. Miyako island is an incredible place, and the rescape makes it even better.  This is not the typical resort with enormous buildings over the sea. The rescape is literally immersed in nature without ruining it.  We stayed in the comfort cottage, a huge room with a private swimming pool. Everything was just perfect: pool, beds, shower, bath tub, breakfast (both "western" and Japanese, served on alternating days). The shabu shabu dinner served to the room was delicious, totally worth it! I appreciated their care for the environment. Also, the staff is so kind and discreet: they will give you all the privacy you need but they're always ready to help you.

Would stay again. Room was brand new and spotlessly clean. All modern conveniences (TV/air con/safe. Location was great and friendly and helpful staff. USB charge ports beside the bed was a great feature also!

the staff went out of their way to make my short single person non Japanese speaker stay special. they very well used Google translate to make sure I understood everything. I felt welcome. the hotel had everything you might need like bike hire (but you need to be a good cyclist). to rent a car make sure you get an international driving license. I loved this little hotel even if slightly out of the way it let me experience the island
