This was an amazing place to stay. A luxury retreat at a reasonable price. We were treated like VIPs by our most kind and gracious host. We opted to have dinner and breakfast included and we were very impressed. The food was locally sourced, fresh and delicious. The host was charming and helpful. Super amazing hosts!!! Offered a ride from the train station and made sure everything is ok. Just on the beach and you can even take surf lessons with the guesthouse owner. Felt like home, Thank you so much!

This place is a gem! The location is simply perfect – just above the beach. I watched the sunrise from the terrace every morning. Rooms are small and clean and you can use a fully equipped kitchen. The owner is the kindest person and very helpful. 7-Eleven is 2 minutes away for late-night snacks. Really want to come back again in the summertime to try surf lessons!

The Next Chapter is a wonderful accommodation in a really nice place and village. We enjoyed our stay a lot and I can also recommend staying a bit longer in order to fully breathe in the place and its surroundings. It is a very laid back and quiet area but perfect to relax especially after cruising through Tokyo and Kyoto or other crowded places in Japan. We did not want to leave!
