Went for a quick transit stay to spend the night. They even arranged the pick-up from the railway station which was very convenient given the time we arrived. From the welcome drink that was served even at late at night to the dinner served before checking out was all exceptional. The staff was very professional respectful. They humbly attended our requests The food and the serving was top-notch The location is easy to reach and the hotel premise has a lovely landscape with a pool Will visit again. I would recommend this to anyone who is planning to travel to Minneriya / Hingurakgoda.

The garden of the hotel is exceptional, there are so many beautiful flowers & you’ll see chipmunks and lots of beautiful birds around. The pool is just amazing and you can hang literally (!) between the palm trees. The dinner (curry) and breakfast are just exceptional. You won’t be hungry for a long time! We booked the Polonnaruwa tempel 4 hour tour with an English guide and tuktuk, which we can highly recommend. The manager and his family are all super friendly and helpful in case of questions for next steps of your travel

The host, Mina, is exceptionally kind. She wants all her guests to be happy, comfortable and 'well feed'!!! Her cooking is also exceptional. The accommodation is simple, in a good way. We were initially a bit sceptical when we saw some negative reviews posted under the property, but we decided to give it a shot. And guys, that was the best thing we did in Sri Lanka! The place was the BEST! We had the most amazing time with our friends! The rooms were super comfy, nice and clean, and the pool was really clean and had the best view. The place felt so homely, and the staff was really helpful! We even went on an "oru safari", which was a safari in the lake, and it was one of the best experiences we had in Sri Lanka. The food was great as well. Some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka. Thank you so much guys, for the amazing experiences, and keep up the good work! Modern hotel with a great view or the lake from the room. The room was big, very clean, modern and had all the facilities you need. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and treated us well. The dinner and the Sri Lankan breakfast was great.

The host family was very friendly and helpfull. The original Sri Lanka food was very delicious and plenty. The location is a dream for nature lovers with a lot of wildlife in the garden, on the fringe of the jungle an just a step to the ruins of Polonnaruwa.
