We had a perfect stay at Iddyl Cottage Ella! Everything was perfect: the room was very clean and comfortable, and the view from the terrace was simply breathtaking. The staff was very kind and attentive. They went above and beyond to make our stay easy and enjoyable, helping us with tuk-tuks, organizing excursions, arranging taxis, giving restaurant recommendations, and even assisting with small needs like adapters or bottled water. The homemade breakfast was delicious and very generous! Served on the terrace of our room, it was a real treat every morning. This accommodation was the highlight of our trip to Ella, and we can’t recommend it enough!

The view from the room is really so unique and refresh everyday , the breakfast is so delicious , perfect breakfast, we could use the kitchen of the hôtel to cook our food , so nice and healthy environnement. Mr Chaminda (owner of the hôtel) he is à great man and always available for everything , he is the most strong point of this hôtel, we will come back again, is highly recommanded and high quality of price , we liked everything.

Everything is very new and super clean ✨ the view is stunning !! Whether you are a solo traveler or with a companion, it'd be the best choice. I really liked doing yoga in the terrace in the early morning.

Amazing little property close to everything. The host was amazing ferrying us back and forth to places and went above and beyond to make sure we knew everything we needed for Ella Rock hike etc. 10/10 view as well

Lovely stay with lovely hosts Amazing view from the rooms and from the restaurant area while we had breakfasts. Rooms we stayed newly build, clean, spacious and well designed. Staff very careful and helpful. Helped for us to arrange transport to town and back for reasonable cost

Nice homestay, the family is friendly and helpful, we rented a scooter for 2 days and it was brought directly to our accommodation, there was a varied and delicious breakfast, the absolute highlight: the breathtaking view of the green mountains, both from the balcony of the room and at breakfast

The best place to get relaxation and freedom out of Ella city.Newly built homestay run by a very friendly owner. Beautiful view of mountains outside the hustle.
