This guesthouse, the staff and the food were one of the best we had during our 4 weeks on the island. The rooms are very convenient and the location is amazing! We had a lot of rice and curries in Sri Lanka and the ones served here were absolutely one of the best we had! We visited several National Parks in Sri Lanka before and most of them were to touristy and crowded. This time we decided to go to Maduru Oya NP which was the best decision ever! We absolutely recommend it, lots of elephants and no tourists! It was organized by the guesthouse. We highly recommend this place if you want to experience the real non-touristy Sri Lanka!
