Ruwanara Royal Majestry is by far the best hotel in the Kurunegela district and one of the best in Sri Lanka! It is a hidden gem and I cannot emphasis how much I enjoyed my stayed here !! To start off with the rooms are more specious than you can ever imagine, it is bigger than the photos ! The beds are extremely luxurious and big, the bathroom is so large and you have enough room to store all your toiletries. Next the room itself is equipped with a big wardrobe, iron and ironing boards, mini fridge and even a nice private study area for relaxation or business work. The staff, are the epitome of Sri Lankan hospitality! From the beginning we were made to feel very welcome into this property and with open arms they made our stay the best stay ever ! This is my home away from home and next time I am in Sri Lanka, I will stay here and will be recommending this hotel to all our family and friends as well! Special thanks to Kavindu, Amila, Anura, chef Priyantha for catering to our every need and making us feel like royalty with their treatment !! They were so kind and I will never forget their hospitality as this kind of quality and service is extremely rare to find ! The property itself is tucked away behind some beautiful paddy feels and our room overlooked the most amazing pool which is cleaned daily! The pool itself we have been in several times and it is clean and extremely refreshing on the warmer days. When we weren’t in the pool we were in the comfort of the AC’d hotel room, watching TV or sleeping on the comfy beds. A perfect holiday! Ruwanara is one of a kind and you won’t find a hotel like this anywhere in Sri Lanka or surrounding areas. We saw many magnificent weddings taking place and we learnt it caters up to 450 person weddings and can accomodate guests with rooms as well! I have recommended this hotel to all my family for any of their upcoming weddings as I think the service and location is just perfect !! I cannot wait to be back.

Magnificent location, private and peaceful boutique getaway with large bathrooms and large, well-appointed clean rooms with extra large comfy beds. Our room had a private 360' view of rainforest, coconut plantation and the pool. Excellent traditional Sri Lankan and Western food. Attentive and cheerful manager and staff (who spoke English and helped me with my Sri Lankan!) The staff even found my husbands wedding ring! Take a cool walk through well maintained rainforest tracks and hotel gardens or relax in the natural rock infinity pool for pure tranquillity. Exceptional Sri Lankan hospitality and the rest we needed during our busy Sri Lankan holiday. We will be back!

Had an amazing one-night stay.The room was clean,cozy and well furnished with a big TV.Washroom was spotless with good water pressure.Wi-Fi was fast and reliable.The meal provided was fresh and tasty.Staff were friendly and helpful.Quiet location,safe environment. An amazing location outside of the hustle and bustle of the city, we loved the tranquil surroundings, the facilities of the hotel are amazing and the staff! Best food we have ever had here for dinner - try the vegetable kottu!

Lakshan is a wonderful host. Beautiful accommodation. Lovely food. Surrounded by lush green foliage. Stunning pool.

I only stayed one night, but they welcomed me very comfortably. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and answered all my questions.

The hotel is located in a scenic location bordering a beautiful Paddy field. We were able to reach the place in 10 minutes from the Kurunegala Clock Tower. The tuktuk charged us two dollars for it. The staff welcomed us very warmly and prepared everything we needed. There is a restaurant serving Sri Lankan and Chinese food at affordable prices. They are very tasty. But a bit spicy. They charged us a very reasonable price for the bottle of wine we got at this restaurant, which had both local and foreign liquor. They also provided free laundry service, and they were kind enough not to charge us anything for morning tea. Although there are a few things that need to be improved, we are indebted to them for providing us with a fair and valuable accommodation for the money they charged us.

The room itself was a haven of comfort, impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed with everything I could possibly need. What truly elevated my experience, however, was the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my every need was met, always with a smile and a willingness to assist. Iduwara Arana provided me with a truly unforgettable stay, exceeding all my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable experience.
