The owner is a fantastic man, he was very attentive and respectful. He helped organise transport to Yala and then from Yala, as well as our Safari. He got an excellent Safari driver, which is the key to a good Safari experience. The room was lovely, and dinners were brilliant too. The area has a lake nearby and the locals who live nearby are so welcoming and friendly. I wish we had stayed longer.

What we liked? Absolutely everything. Now we understand all positive reviews. When we arrived owner and his family welcomed us with cold towels and refreshing coconut water. Room was clean and cleanliness over whole property as well. Can recommend homemade dinner at hotel, it was delicious. If you are traveling for multiple days as us, you can use their laundry service. Owner acts very professional, you can see high standards in almost every aspect from check-in, food serving, to check-out.

The best accommodation we've stayed at in Sri Lanka. A very spacious room and a beautiful bathroom. But the best thing is the terraces overlooking the river. The hosts are very friendly and helped us book the safari and provide other information we requested. Thank you so much for a great stay.

really friendly staff!! they went extra mile for our kid’s birthday, made a super special surprise with the cake and baloons. The tent was also really good, all the facilities you need were there. Such a peaceful atmosphere, we didn’t want to leave. Definitely will come back!

I had a wonderful one-night stay at this hostel. The place is charming and comfortable, but what truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. The host was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help me. I accidentally left my jacket behind, and she made sure to send it back to me. Nice and very quiet location nearly Tissamaharama. room was very clean and staff was super. they help us to arranged yala national park tour. it was amazing and driver was super.
