Its beyond amazing! I recommend it for everyone. The view is famulous, you will see Sigiriya from windows and balcony. The host family is super friendly and helpfull. Everything is new and simple. The backyard and surounding is very new and clean. The breakfast is huge and tasty! Just if you read this comment - book this place for two nights (sunrise - Punduvala rock, elephant safari).

A wonderful hotel! It's stylish and coexists with nature. The arrangement for Pindurangala was quick and smart! For breakfast, there was fresh juice, lots of fruit and a grilled hopper! There was a pool and the rooms were very spacious. It was a 15-20 minute walk to Sigiriya Rock. I definitely want to go back! There was also a family of monkeys that came to play near the hotel. As long as you don't leave food lying around, they won't do anything. I definitely want to go back to this hotel! Thank you!

We had a brilliant stay in Lion Gate Hotel! Everyone working there was so kind, friendly and helpful. We had the traditional breakfast in the morning which we really enjoyed. The hotel is a very short tuktuk ride from everything you could want to see and do. We also enjoyed spending time at the pool which was very well maintained.

Delightful experience, wonderful kind and welcoming members of staff who are keen to go out of their way to accommodate guests wishes. The food is excellent and well portioned. Staff also happy and keen to help organise any excursions or activities around the area.

Amazing place in the middle of nature. Lots of wildlife but nothing frightening! Really nice and helpful staff, very clean and decent size pool, amazing fresh food cooked on demand, very nice cocktails. We had a great stay!

Gabaa Resort was the perfect escape for all travelers . The staff was welcoming, and the surroundings were peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a great place to unwind. The owner is very kind and helpfull. The view is outstanding, you can see the rice fields and the Lion rock from the terrace. Also there is a lake where you can walk or chill on the big terrace or garden in front of your room. At night you can hear the soothing animal noises. The rooms are very clean and big.
