The staff were all so friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Marcos and Bernard went out of their way with advice on any subject. Pool area is lovely. Had a meal there on our last night and Bernard set us a table in the garden , wonderful as was the food, would definitely recommend. Only drawback is the distance from colombo city centre although 40 minutes away was only £4 when you could book a taxi with pickme. On the occasions when a taxi wasn't available Bernard got us a tuk tuk in minutes which was a nice experience in itself. Thanks to all the staff at Saprin Beach for making our first stop in Sri Lanka lovely.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Nest Kandana, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations! The room was incredibly spacious, cozy, and beautifully designed, making it feel like a home away from home. The bathroom was spotless and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable and refreshing experience. Its location is perfect – easy access to town and everything you need within reach. We booked this hotel for 2 nights after a very long trip. We wanted something quiet and good for working and chill. Unlike many other places in Sri Lanka, this hotel has great Western standards and facilities. Beware though, the hotel is inside Orion Tower, on floor 19. We had very fluent communication via WhatsApp and had no issues reaching the place. We also booked a taxi with them.

We booked the whole hotel, all 4 rooms. So we had a lot of privacy and the swimming pool to ourselves. The pool is large and incredibly clean. The owner Damith (Dani) is very friendly and Pobudu cooks very tasty and delicious food. We ate breakfasts and late lunches in the accommodation. The location suited us, as we have visited Sri Lanka 3 times in the past... The sea/ocean is not suitable for swimming but that's okay, there is a large swimming pool.

    The hospitality was exceptional. Mr Dinesh recieved us at airport in the middle of night. Great service. When my child got sick he took her to hospital also. A very kind gesture from the hotel was they arranged for special food for my daughter during her illness. The location of the hotel is simply excellent. It's right on the beach and the humongous windows of the room augment the beach view experience. Wifi is good and the pool is cozy. Would 100% recommend. Everything was taken care by Mr Dinesh.     Nice accommodation, the rom was big enough, pool in the hotel area was great. You can go directly to the beach. Hotel is about 20 minutes ride from airport. We can have airport transport and early check in so it was very good benefit after long flight.
