Absolutely exceptional - an oasis of peace, comfort... great pool including facilities - I enjoyed relaxation like nowhere else... This property is located in a beautiful mangrove forest. It’s so peaceful and surrounded by nature! The staff went out of their way to make our stay wonderful and memorable. The kayak ride from the lodge to the beach was fabulous, and food (breakfast & dinner) was excellent!

Perfect stay at the Karanukarala Ayurveda resort, especially the Ayurveda treatment was wonderful. In the beginning, the crew told me it was fully booked, but in the end, they managed to schedule it for me. The room was big, and really clean and the beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay there, especially to relax (recommend the yoga and meditation classes).

One bedroom villa was spacious and very clean. River view is second to none. Also this place is kids friendly and swimming pool is beautiful. Main highlight is dinner and breakfast. It’s very delicious. Highly recommend this place.

This villa is a very relaxing place ! Not for getting the sunset ! You could view the beautiful sunset from the balcony! The pool is beautiful and calm! The staff is excellent ! The pool was lovely and clean, with a team of people ready to assist with towels. The restaurant was great, again very clean and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast very much. We stayed in a water bungalow which felt very luxurious. The space was used very well and decorated beautifully. A calm retreat.

We visited on the 7th to the 09th June. Our stay in Belmont boutique hotel in Negombo was excellent. Very clean, comfortable bed and lovely staff. I will definitely recommend anyone to book your hotel. Looking forward to visit again next year. I'm giving a review of 10/10. The Adam's family

    The Manager of the hotel and his staff (including 3 dogs and a cat) are above any praise. If you seek for a well organized place to rest without problems do come to Puetz Travels Beach Resort. Mr. Marcus will make your trip a real holyday. Even wild crocodiles that live in the nearby river dream to move to the magic canals of Puetz Travels Beach Resort. I wish i were among the lucky ones.     Quiet place with pure nature, river and ocean around, clean pool, nice bungalows (great idea of small houses with direct path to the beach), good beach area, friendly staff. A cute couple of dogs living in the hotel was an advantage :) Every time you want to go out of the hotel, you need to take a hotel boat to cross the river, which is very interesting and not so common for many hotels, but you need to make sure that a boatman is there!

    Such an amazing start to our Sri Lanka trip - dinners are so good here!! Different meal served each night. On the first night we had a selection of authentic Sri Lankan curry and rice that was incredible. The pool area is clean, relaxing and the rooms are big and clean. Hotel manager and all staff are very accommodating providing everything we need including bicycles which were a great way to explore the area.

    A very pleasant place to relax at the end of an active trip in Sri Lanka. Marcus and his wife are very attentive and welcoming hosts. We really appreciate how they managed to transform this place into a friendly little paradise. The family cottage is spacious, with two bathrooms. The garden is spectacular and very well maintained. Across the road is a long and wild beach. Love it.

    We used this hotel as a one night stop off when we arrived before travelling around Sri Lanka. The location is remote, but that didn't bother us as we only stayed at the hotel. The pool was big and clean, whilst the room was really comfy.
