Max and his wife are just great hosts, very helpful in every way. The location is great, you are really right on the beach, which is absolutely not busy, for days you don't see any tourist ever. Along with that comes that there is no restaurant nearby, but Max might lend you his bycicle, and in 5 minutes you are there. You can also ask Max, they cook for you.

We loved the location. Further form the dirty beach, in nice green quiet neighbourhood. Close to a train station, not far from the airport. The hosts are extremely pleasant and the hotel is worth a lot more than it is sold for. The food was good, the room was spacious (old aircon bit noisy). The best part of course was the pool. Clean, big and deep. Best pool I ever had in these hotels. I could have spent a day sunbathing and swimming. Great place,

We spent the last day at this hotel before our early flight the following day. The property was very quiet, in fact we only saw 2 guests in the whole time we stayed there. We spent the day having lunch and swimming in a lovely setting. Rooms were lovely and dinner was very nice.

Our party of five had a very enjoyable and memorable stay at Waterland! The staff met us upon our arrival and checked us in quickly and efficiently. They continued to provide excellent service throughout our two day stay. The 90 minute boat tour of the nearby Dutch Canal is highly recommended. We saw a lot of bird life and a monitor lizard or two. And our two story villa with private pool and view of the river was quite luxurious. We only wish we were able to spend a few more days at this wonderful hotel!

Absolutely exceptional - an oasis of peace, comfort... great pool including facilities - I enjoyed relaxation like nowhere else... Great attitude towards the guest - they will fulfill your every wish, everywhere and always a smile and positive energy. Everything was ideal for the price : room was tidy, staff was really kind and careful about my needs, location is perfect next to restaurants and to the diving center! They even accepted to do a late checkout so that I could take a shower after my dive, and gave me a very nice gift in the end. I highly recommend !
