This was my favourite place in my entire Morocco trip! Mr Lahcen is genuinely kind and generous. I informed him of my arrival time (night) and he was waiting for me, greeted with a lovely pot of delicious tea and peanuts and even orange juice. The breakfast was the best I had, delicious Berber omelette with lots of espresso coffee! The room is really amazing, so so comfy, beds and blankets are soft and warm, super clean, nice bathroom and hot shower but best of all was the balcony and terraces, the view of the valley is so beautiful with the stars and the moon and the sound of the river. I loved it here, I will return!

It was one of the best place where I have been in Morocco. And I have been in at least, 6 different ones. The owner and his family were super friendly, it was all what you need. Breakfast, dinner of you need, water. They treat me as a one more person at home, not as a traveler. I strongly recommend when you want to rest, have a peace and feel really calm. About 20 minutes from the town and because of it was super comfy- without a lot of people. Thank you for all! Anna:)

Jamal, our gracious host, and Ahmed, our fantastic cook were very kind and welcoming...as well as talented (they played music for us one evening). The food was delicious! The outdoor seating options were all lovely. At night we heard only crickets and a bit of a breeze.

He was incredibly attentive, ensuring our stay was comfortable, personalized, and memorable. Whether it was providing insightful local recommendations or sharing fascinating stories about the area, he made us feel genuinely welcome and enriched our cultural immersion. Riad Tigmi Du Soleil is a magical blend of traditional Moroccan aesthetics and modern comforts. Each room is thoughtfully designed, exuding an old-world charm while boasting the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The Riad offers an ideal retreat for those who seek tranquillity amidst authentic Moroccan architecture. One of the Riad's main highlights is its location. Ait Ben Haddou, with its unique earthen clay architecture, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a jewel of Moroccan history. The Riad's strategic location allows for easy exploration of this historic village, which is an experience that every visitor to Morocco must embark on. The food served at the Riad is another aspect worth mentioning. The delicious traditional Moroccan dishes offered a culinary journey that further deepened our appreciation for the country's rich and diverse culture. The breakfast served was a fantastic start to the day, featuring a variety of local bread, jams, fresh fruit, and Moroccan tea. Overall, our stay at Riad Tigmi Du Soleil was a sublime blend of comfort, culture, and authentic Moroccan hospitality. It is a place where one can feel the true essence of Morocco, thanks to the genuine warmth of the host and the enchanting ambiance of the property and its surroundings.

This riad is extremely beautiful, I absolutely loved the patio and the common areas. I was impressed of how beautiful it is considering you’re basically in the middle of nowhere. The owner and his family are very friendly and welcoming, they all went above and beyond to accomodate us. We had dinner at the Riad on both nights, food was superb, amazing Moroccan typical dishes. They even cooked some different food for my dad who has a gluten allergy. The hotel is located about 10m driving from Ait Benhaddou, this is perfect to beat the tourists crowd and arrive there in the early morning without having to wake up too early. A superb Riad, very friendly staff, amazing food… I highly recommend it! Thanks ♥️

You cannot not fall in love with this place! Ahmed takes care of his hosts with passion while his artist brother fills the place with its magic! The lovely uncle and the dreamer, and Thierry undying miles and stories. Tapestries and cosy sofas everywhere. You will only find warmth and rest for the soul!
