Megdaz itself is remote. But don't let that discourage you as this was one of the best experiance we had in Morocco. The host - Mohamed is incredibly friendy and the location itself is unique, as it is old Berber village deep in high Atlas. Food was great and you can have all the comfort of a civilization (wifi, hot water) deep in this natural paradise. The views are breathtaking and the whole place serene and peacefull. We steyed just for a night (and tour next day) but seriously considered staying here for longer. If you don't mind a little bit of adventure and a hike, ask Mohamed for a tour to waterfall(aprox 3h). I would recomend some better shoes, but int the end we managed in city shoes and sandals. And the waterfall is well worth it. Be warned, while the hotel itself is not acessible via car, which can be safely parked at the end of the road in the village, And a small anecdote, as we were leaving, one of us forgot a bag (with his passport and money) and Mohamed not only called us to let us know, he also took car and took it towards us. So thank you once again for saving us and really hope to see you and this place again.

I liked the atmosphere and people around. The property is operated by the family that lives in there. The owner is a very nice person. I have been there already twice and I hope I will have an opportunity to return there again.

Amazing host. He recommended a lovely hike through the valleys which we really enjoyed. He also prepared an amazing dinner and breakfast for us. I really didn't expect this service for such a price. The room and shared bathroom is exactly as described and is functional.

The guest house is located in a little village in the Atlas Mountains; it preserves its authentic Berber culture in the middle of a beautiful natural landscape, a magical place to stay! Abdul was the best host, he welcomed us in the guest house as a family and the next day he guided us through a hike in the sorroundings, showing us small Berber villages around and explaining their culture. Heated bath hammam style, best experience ever. Our host Mohammed gave us a taste of the Arabic hospitality. We arrived late in the evening and were welcomed with a warm soup and tea. The bath was heated for us. The breakfast was delicious with freshly baked bread and goodies from the garden and the village. Really didn’t expect all the good stuff we received and couldn’t have asked for more. Our 9-person group (3 couples and 3 singles) was thrilled. There are 2 separate bedrooms and one huge living room with plenty of room to sleep. We even made a fire in the fireplace from the living room. Best authentic experience staying in Mohammed’s house. We had the whole floor for ourselves and plenty of privacy. Couldn’t recommend this more as an often traveler!

I’m in Morocco for the second time in my life. Last time I’ve spent here 3 weeks and I have to say that I haven’t met so kind and professional hosts in this country yet! Also the place is just lovely. Ultra clean, and very atmospheric. You can easily feel that it’s a family business. + food is just great!

Accommodation is in a good location in the atlas mountains and the hosts were very hospitable and kind. They also home cooked a delicious tagine for us. Nice place for an afternoon walk down to the gorge and along the water.
