It was my third time in the hotel and I will come back again next time. The internet is good, I need that! The stuff is very helpful whatever it is. Very good breakfast (I mean the quality) and very good and spotless clean rooms. Do not wonder about the entrance, the hotel starts in the first floor. The stuff helps you and brings all your suitcases in your room.

    I loved the visit of the Queens' palace! People in Antananarivo are very friendly, driving is smooth and seems safer than many other cities! Life is also affordable with a viety of different items you might need.

    Antananarivo is what it is.

    Antananarivo is what it is. Which is to say dirty, dusty, noisy and overcrowded. Lots of beggars. Traffic moves at speed of molasses when it’s moving at all - there are no traffic lights, some intersections have traffic cops but they appear to be ignored. And yet…no, there’s no as yet, it is what it is.

    polluted city, quite safe though. only thing that really disturbed me was the fact that kids and women with babies will follow you to harass you to give them money. They will walk long distances with you until you give them a little money.

    Some great places to visit, but the taxi prices are out of control! It is much too expensive just to travel 1 km. Airport taxis are a rip-off. There should be more transparency and printed prices to main destinations.

    There are not many places to visit in Antananarivo and it is not recommended that you go out alone - particularly after dark. It was the start and end point of a wildlife tour for myself and my friend and the tour guide organised a walking tour for half a day which was very good. Without the guide, I think we would have struggled to find our way around and avoid the people begging for money and/or trying to pick our pockets!!

    Antananarivo is an old city mixed with vibrant culture. The people are humble. They are poor and live of the land. You find people washing clothes and bathing on the riverbanks. The slum area is terrible, dirty and everything is dumped into the river. A had the opportunity to visit a Hindu temple and the Queens palace, this is a must do as a tourist. There are modern buildings of international standards. Electricity cuts are constant. Food is inexpensive and good value and quality depending on where you are dining. Traffic congestion must be expected as the city centre is the hub full of street vendors. I would love to visit again and spend more time exploring the rest of Madagascar.

    Convenient location in centre of town although some 30-40 minutes from the airport. Quirky hotel with friendly staff and rooms spread across a number of buildings. Ask for a room in the new building and if you can afford it one on the top floor. Huge rooms. Other smaller rooms can be a bit dated and tight for room. Air con noisy and not very efficient in older rooms. Hotel Good value and happy to store luggage. Excellent restaurant on first floor.

    Rather new, nice looking hotel. Nice elements, like door cushion, protecting from the corridor noise. Great staff, nice airport pick-up by who looked like the owner himself and for taxi price. OK breakfast (could be more, but for Madagascar average was very OK). Good part - possibility to pay by card.
