First of all, big thanks to all the team for the great service and especially to Maya. From pick up at the harbor, room cleaning every day and super delicious food. The Hotel is located 30 seconds away from the bikini beach. We enjoyed our time there a lot and can highly recommend it!

Amazing place. Manta Reserve is a new, clean and well-maintained facility. Close to the beach. Best place to stay on Malhoos. The care was premium, beyond our expectations. Affan, the owner is very kind, respectful, friendly and helpful. I contacted him before our stay. He responded fast and was ready to answer all my questions. He communicated all the prices before our stay and was ready to cook according to our vegetarian diet. We were coming to Maldives for the first time and did not know how to arrange the transport from the airport to the island. Affan offered to arrange a speed boat for us. He personally welcame us at the airport and took the speedboat ride from the airport to the island with us. He helped us with everything we needed. His cooking is great, he is using much of local organic items like fresh coconut water and pulp, papaya, star fruit, mango, island grown fruits and veggies. On two nights we dined directly on the beach. Even the blue fluorscent plankton appeared which was an unforgetable experience. Affan, the owner, arranged our trips - snorkling with turtles, local cuisine cooking class, coconut oil making class and dolphin watch. We saw coral reef and swam with big turtles, tropical fish, sting rayas, mantas and watched dozens of dolphins. The island, Maalhos, is beautiful with turquoise water and white coral sand beaches which are not at all crowded. You’ll find beautiful sea shells on the beach. There is a forest on the island, full of palms and tropical trees. It has pathways with smooth white sand and you can roam there freely. Weather is great 28-32 degrees Celsius. Local people are very friendly. You can walk on the beach around the island, it takes around 45 minutes to go around the island. This holiday was a dream and I will recommended it to my friends. It’s totally worth the money, we enjoyed our stay very much.

This hotel is by far my best experience in the Maldives. Everything was well thought, smooth and centered around genuine connection. All the staff members without exception are super welcoming and always attentive, from the booking to the transfer to the actual stay. It gives the unique atmosphere of being at home. They have organized everything so smoothly. The hotel activities and excursions are custom made and offer a private and privileged experience. The crew knows the area by heart and gives so many insights on the wildlife. The rooms are very spacious, super clean and with amazing views. The breakfast changes everyday and is very fresh. The hotel restaurant is also amazing and very affordable. The private beach is the best of the island and the reef is very vivid for snorkeling. Overall, the experience is unforgettable and gives the perfect blend of local but also soothing.

A Truly Unforgettable Stay in Paradise! Our stay at this beautiful resort in the Maldives was an absolute dream. The hotel is tucked away among tall palm trees, just 10 meters from a stunning white-sand beach with crystal-clear water. The entire island felt like a hidden paradise. One of the highlights of our trip was swimming with manta rays in the incredible Hanifaru Bay – a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget. Every day, the hotel provided us with clean beach towels, snorkeling masks, and fins, making it so easy to enjoy the sea and the underwater beauty. The staff were exceptional – always kind, professional, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to Sumesh, who went above and beyond every single day to make our stay perfect. He solved every little issue quickly and with a smile, making us feel completely looked after. We also want to highlight the head of dining, who ensured every meal was fresh, delicious, and beautifully served. The service in the restaurant was just as great as the food itself. For the price, the hotel was more than fair – clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. The island is small but absolutely magical, ideal for relaxation, nature lovers, and ocean adventures. I had the most incredible birthday at Bageecha Stay! The rooms were absolutely spotless, with a lovely fresh scent and everything feeling brand new. The service was top-notch – personalized and thoughtful at every turn. The food? Delicious and beautifully presented! One of the best parts is the ability to choose between local Maldivian dishes or European cuisine, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The island is the perfect size for exploring, with clean beaches and stunning ocean views. The view from my room was breathtaking, with the ocean stretching out right before my eyes. The highlight of my stay was taking a boat trip to a deserted island, which turned out to be the most unforgettable experience. It was peaceful, beautiful, and truly magical – a once-in-a-lifetime moment! For those who love to explore, the resort offers bicycles that you can take and ride around the island. It’s a fun and relaxing way to see every corner of this beautiful place. Everything at Bageecha Stay is designed with attention to detail. The rooms were cleaned regularly, ensuring everything stayed fresh and pristine. They even have special branded beach towels, which was a lovely touch and added to the luxurious feel of the stay.     This is a small local island. It’s quiet and simple.

    This is a small local island. It’s quiet and simple. The people are friendly. The beach and the sea is beautiful. There are a few restaurants on the island. We have limited choice on food. We recommend the restaurant called Moonshell as it provides more international food and the price is reasonable. There is another cafe near the pier where we can eat local Maldivian food. The cafe is popular among locals. The island is very close to the Manta point called Hanifaru Bay. We recommend this manta excursion as this is a wonderful once in a lifetime experience. It is convenient to bring cash and exchange some Maldivian money to spend and pay for the meals.

    A local island so don't expect the resort life - the beaches...

    A local island so don't expect the resort life - the beaches look picture perfect, but the streets are full of trash. You can experience and learn about the local lifestyle, traditions etc. which is a big plus in my opinion. I read that the house reef is one of the best in the Maledives and I can absolutely vouch for that.

    Maalhos is a beautiful island surrounded by white coral beaches. It has a forest full of palms and tropical trees and plants. If you visit it in the evening, use mosquito repellent. Local villagers are nice and friendly. There is a bikini beach with sun beds and amazing access to turquoise colour water. Beaches are white sand and on several parts of the island you can find corals and shells on the beach. There is a diving center, you can rent a water scooter or go for a snorkeling trip. Snorkeling was an amazing experience. We saw tropical fish, sting rays, corals and big turtles while snorkeling. We went for a dolphin watch and saw dozens of dolphins swimming and jumping in the sea. There is an isolated island close to Maalhos with beautiful turquoise lagoons. Unfortunately there was also quite a lot of trash when we visited and the forest is full of mosquitoes, so don't forget to take your repellent if you visit. During some months you can watch mantas. We had the luck and the blue bioluminescence plankton 3 or 4 nights on the beach, it was a breath taking experience. We stayed and took breakfast, lunch and dinner in Manta Reserve Hotel, which is the best place to stay in Maalhos. You can walk around the island in 45 minutes.
