It was an amazing experience!! We had Ryan as our guide, lucky us! He was always concerned that we could see as many animals as possible, and he could spot animals with great ease. We saw 4 out of 5 of the Big Five thanks to his determination! Terima Kasih Ryan 😊 In addition, the accommodation was very cozy, the staff was friendly, the food was good and there was great communication regarding the transfer! Totally recommend!!👌

The rooms are ok, but really in the middle of the jungle and just in front of the river The best part about the place is Lynda, she is like a living documentary she just wanted to show us all the animals in there and we saw them, Rhyno hornbill, elephants, crocodile and basically all the kind of monkeys we could see, just an amazing experience with her being the best guide possible The food was really good too and also the experiences out of the normal package I really recommend the night cruise, is something amazing being in that river in a small boat at night Loved it! accomodation and food are very basic, but with all you need, it is clean, staff is great, JD is excellent spoter, location is perfect, we were watching elephants swimming across the river :)

one of the best accommodations I had on Borneo. Rooms were large, spacious and clean. Bed and breakfast were also fine. The highlight, however, was the friendliness of the hosts, especially the two sons. When the elephants were nearby, I was informed immediately and they went with me straight away. The boat tours (since I was there in December, these were even private tours) were very good and there was a lot of information about the animals. I can highly recommend this accommodation and the accommodation is much more personal than the resorts or large providers. I would come back immediately.

Lodging, meals, guiding... all was superb (including the sightings of pygmy elephants and orangutans). The people at the Last Frontier Resort are very passionate about their jobs and they excel at it. Rodel was a great guide and Jason went out of his way to make sure our onward journey by bus would work smoothly. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Would be 11 out of 10 (if that was a possibility). So if you get the chance - book it :)
