MalaysiaThe host was kind and nice, His name is Dion and he offered complementary Coffee, tea, bread and margarine, toast, different types of sugar (free flow all day long). Beds were soft. Rooms were air conditioned. He provided extra pillows when asked without extra charge or any fuss. He showed us the different, unique types of rocks he collected from his own backyard of the inn, whereas in a museum you would only see the rocks through the glass. I also chose this inn because it was close by to the Rainbow Waterfall in Sg. Lembing which I wanted to visit. Unfortunately, the gloomy weather did not permit a visit.
If you find yourself in the same position, fret not ! There is an excellent tour guide called Ms. Wong who offers a service to collect us from the Riverside Palm Inn lobby itself (from 6.00 am) to visit Sungai Lembing town, Sunrise Hill, Orang Asli Village, etc. Good for a weekend getaway.

Surprisingly, the wifi was superfast and very reliable. The owner was really kind and helpful in making our stay memorable especially when we were BBQing. basic room amenities were also provided.

simple rustic old kampong village by the river Sungai Kenau. Do explore the town for the food. Almost all are delicious but to each his/her own taste butts eh. Going around town is easy and walkable about 45min to 1 hour round trip walking. From the town u can hike up Panorama Hill for the acclaimed sunrise, then book the 4WD (45 min Drive) and walk (1.2km) to the waterfall. luck depending, u will see the beautiful rainbow when its sunny!!Guest review byQuck Chan - 10.0

Is a small town but it's close to nature, who like or love to experience the life of rest or the actitives in nature you can go ahead, camping, mountain visit, hot spring and some others (but i have no enough to join all) i do stay there 4 days 3 night , but 1 day i rushing there from KL, second day i went Kuantan, third day i do went the waterfall, last day i was rest and leaving ....Guest review byMixmikiMalaysia - 8.0

A little bit of small adventures to go back to nature and enjoy the natural beauty of sunrise, clouds, raimbows and cool waters at a waterfall. And of course, enjoying the fresh air in the town. The minus point is that the main thing which is trumpeted even on the local town bus i.e. the mining tunnel has been closed for about 2 years for 'maintenance works' is STILL closed to date. Things you can do here: 1. Sightseeing the surrounding...it's quite interesting and yoy can ask for a guide (ask the management about this stuff). 2. Rainbow waterfall (5.50am to 10am) to see the sunrise, hiking a bit and maybe take a dip at the waterfall. (Ask the management there). 3. Go and have a walk on the hanging bridge (couldn't remember the name of it) but it's a good experience. 4. Go to Museum Sungai Lembing....it's cool to learn about the mining process. nature, the hanging bridge, the surrounding area.. still green. i feel that i want to stay more longer. Even Sg Lembing now likely cowboy town but im enjoyed been there. No shopping mall but you can find mini stall. There is also few resort, hotel & back packer room. You can find mini post office too. The food also good, tasty even few stall open due to raya festive. Hot coffee is tasty & mee sup also delicious. we went to muzium, entrance fee only RM2. Many historical & antique things. very comfortable too with fan & aircon working very well even outside is very hot wheather. the guard also friendly. i wish i will come again!Guest review byMash - 8.0

My favourite visit was the rainbow waterfall and Panoramic Hill. Overall the township is calm and quiet. Most places can be reach by foot. The hawker centre at the township is the best place for the food, they open early such a 5am but close in the afternoon. Staff very friendly. 1 staff was waiting for me since I check in quite late at night. He upgraded my room from single room to backpackers container, but let me stay alone in that 6 beds room. I checked out early in the morning. After my event finish, i came back to T-Box, the owner very flexible to let me use the shared bathroom.
