this property is a brilliant a home away from home. i loved it so much everything was clean and well taken care of. i was very impressed and it came with Fernando the garden boy that helped us and never left the property he cleaned and was very helpful. i appreciate this and the host for being so accommodating. Owners, Beverly and Mandy went out of their way. Service exceptional. Felt like a second home, very welcoming. All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to provide the best service ever. Tony, for your amazing meals. Elzia for your fast and efficient service. Chico for your service, dropping and picking up, always with a smile. We definitely have never had service like this on any other holiday and will be coming back, without a doubt. Thank you, Gala-gala!

In Jauary 2025 I stayed there for only 3 nights, but i would have liked to stay longer. The staff in particular Sean were incredibly friendly, helpful with information and calm. Sean is a very interesting man and I got a lot of information even before i arrived. I liked talking to him and learned a little more about Mozambique. I felt very welcome. The complex is close to the beach and centrally located for exploring Ponta do Ouro and like a little green oasis. The tent was very large and comfortable, i was lucky to see some different geckos, big snails and a little green snake. The Wifi in the common aera is very good. Also the the breakfast and lunch was very yummy, they even offer free coffee, tea and water all day. I would come back, clear recommendation***

    Ponta do Ouro is a lovely place!

    Ponta do Ouro is a lovely place! The beaches are warm and turquoise, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. We swam with dolphins, walked along the golden sands, ate plenty of prawns, sipped on delicious cocktails, swam in the ocean, went on scenic walks, and just fully relaxed. It was absolutely wonderful.

    Ponta is always a great place to visit.

    Ponta is always a great place to visit. Unfortunately we were dissatisfied with our accomodation as we weren't warned that tents are right next to and in front of a very noisy restaurant with music playing from 10am till midnight. It is a kuier plek but I do feel people making use if accomodation is not that important as main source of income us the restaurant, my opinion

    Very friendly and welcoming coastal town, everything you need for your stay is there. Lots to do and the beach setting is beautiful. It’s a great place to go and relax. People are very helpful as well. Plenty of restaurants serving fantastic food at reasonable prices. There’s great beach bars too.

    Fresh bread rolls baked every morning. Bank has ATM. Fresh fruit and veges are available at a market - filthy dirty. Could find nowhere to buy meat. There is a well stocked pharmacy for emergency. Communication is very difficult as most speak portugese and very little english.

    Stayed at Tri M Waves and just loved it. Friendly and helpful staff. Safe and child friendly place. Good food in their restaurant. Walking distance to get to the beach and to the market. A lovely and relaxing place to be

    It’s a very beautiful place with clean beaches and lovely...

    It’s a very beautiful place with clean beaches and lovely greenery that keeps the temperatures cool. All this makes it a relaxing destination and peaceful experience. The villas at Golden Beach are private and spacious and the food at restaurant was very good. The staff were both courteous and helpful.
