    Landhuis Hotel de Hilkensberg was absolutely excellent—one of the highlights of our trip. The estate is stunningly green and peaceful, with a natural swimming pool and charming animal residents, including a super-friendly chicken, and hungry alpacas you can feed. The breakfast was amazing, and the evening snacks were just as impressive. The food overall was fantastic, and the atmosphere incredibly relaxing. The team was welcoming and very accommodating. A beautiful, restful escape—wish we could’ve stayed longer!

    Amazing setting right on the river! There’s a ferry right outside. We spent a lot of time just watching the river traffic. The room was very spacious and had a terrace overlooking the river. Clean, comfortable and had all the usual amenities. There’s a great restaurant in the hotel and if that’s closed there’s another right next door… and if all else fails take the ferry over to the Hertog Jan Brewery which has a pipe from the brewery into the cafe! Don’t miss this one!!!

    Superb hotel, great friendly helpful staff, a credit to the owners. Breakfast was best I have had in a long time. loved feeding the Alpacas , black sheep and the fish. Rooms excellent and will certainly be back.

    Good location, very good ample rooms. The gardens of the hotel are very large and there are animals like alpacas and sheep. Very good breakfast
