What a perfect place! The bed was the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in and everything we needed was there. It was super quiet and right in the heart of all the must sees. Communication was great via WhatsApp and the keyless entry was a breeze. There’s so much character here - a real gem!

What a great location to the historic centre of Delft; it's walking distance! The room is comfortable and the door/window opens so the lovely cool air can come in. Breakfast - 2 options, a French breakfast which is coffee and croissant or the luxury breakfast which really has everything. Coffee is excellent, food is very tasty. Dinner can be booked in the Restaurant Swing. The menu is small but the food is excellent. Overnight parking for guests with cars, but daytime cars must relocate either by travelling for sightseeing or park in the Markt Parkade; which is very close to the hotel.

Beautiful Like a Porcelain Doll

Delft is a picturesque Dutch city with canals and historic buildings, situated between Rotterdam and The Hague. Birthplace of the famous Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer, this destination is also home to the iconic Delft blue porcelain and the University of Technology.

Like a phoenix from the ashes, the 17th century Town Hall of Delft was destroyed on 1618 and rebuilt by the architect Hendrick de Keyser. Located across from the City Hall in the centre of the Market square, the Protestant church of Nieuwe Kerk (New Church) with the imposing tower is connected with the Dutch Royal Family.

Resting place for Piet Hein, Maarten Tromp and Johannes Vermeer, the Oude Kerk (Old Church) was built in 1240 and is one of the main landmarks of the city along with the Prinsenhof. Booking.com offers a variety of apartments and hotels in the centre of Delft.

The Delftware factories with the blue ceramics and the hand-painted porcelain are definitely something that travellers should not miss while visiting the Netherlands. Weather permitting, you can enjoy a local beer on a canal terrace.

    We only and two nights and one day in Delft (between Brussels and the flight home). There were more things to do in the area if we would have had time. We could have explored nearby cities since they are easily accessible by train. We could have explored Kinder Dyk from there as well. Delft is a relatively quiet little town and a good alternative to the crowded nearby Amsterdam. It was easy access by train to the airport.

    Lovely city but probably best explored with a friend as is quite twee and smart. A bit like a mini Bruges. Lots of nice streets to wander round. Avoid the tourist cheese shops etc around the main square.

    Delft has it all- history, architecture, charming shops, international cuisine and friendly people. It's very easy to navigate on foot and a short train ride to so many other cities in the Netherlands.

    Lovely old town with many canals and small local shops.

    Lovely old town with many canals and small local shops. Peaceful. Has not yet been invaded by international brands. We enjoyed walking around, looking at old buildings, visiting the "new" church, climbing its tower, and buying antique Delft tiles. Quiet with no cars, as everybody rides bicycles.

    Delft is a great historic city in the Netherlands that you simply have to visit. The size of the city center is walkable, pittoresque with canals with various places to dine at various budgets. Visit the antique market going on in summertime on saturdays. The prinsenhof, the old or the new church and the places that Vermeer saw while he was painting. Recommended!

    Delft is simply wonderful.

    Delft is simply wonderful. Beautiful, relaxing, great restaurants and bars and a rich history. As a university city it is also lively without being too noisy at all. This was our second visit, we're already planning to go back

    Gorgeous hotel in the most beautiful square in Delft. Staff were super friendly and the breakfast was great with vegan options. The room had a beautiful view and had everything we needed. Great location less than five minutes walk into the centre for Vermeer attractions boat trips etc with lots of wonderful bars and restaurants all around.

    It’s the second time that I stayed at the WestCord Hotel Delft. First time I came with my daughter, this time with my dad. I like the location, as I come by car. I like the cozy atmosphere. The hotel has a nice buzz. The bartender recommended my dad a local beer and we really appreciated his enthusiasm.
