Incredible view from the balcony. You could see the sunset as well as the different ships heading past. The sea was only a few meters away and also the city centre was very close (5 min. walk). The rooms were incredible. We booked two rooms that could be turned into one big apartment by a connecting hallway. Very good for friends or a family with children. Breakfast in the room delivered in the morning at the time booked.

I loved my room. The room was spacious, really comfortable and cozy. The window covering almost the whole high wall, offering as such a spectacular sunrise view. The colors of the room and the furnishing is beautiful. Breakfas is exceptional. I really enjoye dmy stay, and would definitely come back to this hotel. 10/10 recommended!

We don’t often get a chance to sleep on a boat so we booked a room for a night. We checked in at the hotel, everything went smooth, we had no trouble putting our bikes on board and finding our cabin. A lovely place to enjoy sun on the deck before returning to the hotel for our excellent evening meal. A very quiet night, we had no trouble sleeping and would return here if we are ever in this area.

We really enjoyed our stay at your hotel! The location is perfect — right on the waterfront, with beautiful views. The hotel is new and modern, with excellent beds and very comfortable mattresses. We especially loved the quirky elevator — it made us smile every time. A special thank you to the staff for their friendliness and helpful attitude. We would definitely come back!

Perfect location for catching the ferry. Set in the heart of this bustling town and a short cycle from historic Middleburg. The peaceful courtyard is a safe place to store bikes or just sit and relax in. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. A great place to stay on our bike tour.

The love to detail in the interior, a spaceous room that was not only spotless and absolutely clean came with such a great view, made my stay just as enjoyable as possible. Plus: the amazing, also very spaceous bathroom incl bath tub! :) From the moment I booked the stay, super friendly and fast support from the Boulevard 17 Team! Great choices in the breakfast buffet, and I also recommend visiting the restaurant besides the breakfast, great service and amazing quality in food and drinks! I cannot wait to come back one day :)

The staff was nice and helpful, the room was comfortable and bigger than expected, it even has a desk and a cozy terrace, and the location is great! A few blocks away from Vlissingen’s center. Breakfast was good, specially sausages and eggs. I highly recommend!

    Lovely promenade walk. Great choice of restaurants in the square. Recommend the restaurant in the old prison. Perfect spot for a drink watching the sunset. Hire a e-bike and cycle to Domburg via the coast. Plenty of spots to stop at

    Lots of shops including grocery stores. Lots of places to eat; especially options of bars/restaurants near the beach. Train station had intercity trains and all stops so it was very handy. None of the places I went had english translations which is chill it just made it a little more difficult. DEFINITELY recommend the Efteling, it was so good. Not in Vlissingen but a short train/bus

    Vlissingen is a beautiful little city that is great for a relaxing weekend or few days away from home. It is relatively quiet, but the restaurants and cafés make for a great ambiance. The beaches are a beautiful sight and great for a stroll or just to sit down on and watch the ships come by. I would highly recommend going to SOIF for dinner or even just some drinks!

    After 4 days in Amsterdam and 3 on The Hague we went south.

    After 4 days in Amsterdam and 3 on The Hague we went south. Vlissingen in September was still very nice. We had warm days and rainy days but I was still nice. There are some lovely cafe/ restaurants in Bellamy Park where we ate often. Very reasonable and excellent food and service at SOIF. We rented ebikes in town from Willie and had an amazing time riding all over Walcheren, to Middleburg, Veere and all the way around stopping at beach cafes when we wanted. The 55km ride is easily done on an e bike and so worth it. Enjoy!

    It is really easy to get around Vlissingen.

    It is really easy to get around Vlissingen. Especially as there is a car park, where you can park the first 3 hours free and it is only a 5 minute walk to the town centre. There are a lot of different shops in town, which are nice to explore. Very nice is a walk along the Boulevard, which is 1000 meters long with a lot of nice cafe's and Restaurant and a great view of large ships passing. Along the harbour and town centre are many lovely locations to east. We been most of the time in the Vishami Restaurant, because of the lovely fish dishes they serve. From the Railway station there is also the Ferry located which brings you across the Westerschelde to Breskens, which is a very enjoyable trip.

    The hotel Maldegem has a unique position in Vlissingen - directly at the port and close to restaurants and shops. It is ideal for a weekend if you want to escape the stress of big cities in the neighbourhood, The rooms are clean and sapcious and well equipped. The beds are very good. Remember to book a parking in advance as the hotel has only a limited number of parking lots in the city center available. If you travel with a pet - make sure to reserve a room in the patio, as dogs are allowe only there.

    The Building is Beautiful. The transformation to turn it to an hotel is really nicely done. The room was big enough for the four of us, one double bed below and one double bed on the mezzanine. Two bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, perfect for four. When we arrived in the evening to the hotel, the Girl at the reception was LOVELY and super kind and helpful.
