1. Location. House is located in the beginning of the Lysefjord and has a marvelous view. 2. The actual house is a well-balanced mix of modern equipment and vintage furniture and pieces of decor, which tell you some kind of story. 3. 2 cats (little hosts) who led us to our house and helped to find all the things we needed. Created a feeling of home and atmosphere of joy and coziness.

This was a fantastic last-minute booking at a very reasonable nightly rate. I loved having a private bedroom with an external private bathroom, along with access to the well-equipped shared kitchen and lounge room. As I was the only guest during my mid-June stay (shoulder season), it was wonderfully quiet and provided a lovely, relaxing evening where I could prepare meals for my road trip and enjoy some reading. The views were absolutely beautiful – both from the dining/kitchen area and from my bedroom on the opposite side. It's a very lovely setting and a short, convenient drive to Stavanger. Highly recommend!

Fantastic lodge with a stunning view. Great way to start your hiking trip. A lot of activities are offered before or after hiking. I totally recommend the Sauna with a refreshing dip in the cold lake.

It has a lovely traditional farmhouse feel. The rooms are comfortable and the staff really friendly and professional. We had a superb dinner and the breakfast was excellent. Easy to find with plenty of parking.
