Wonderful location right on the water, the entire property was spotless and in superb condition. The atmosphere was modern and decor tasteful. Dinner was outstanding and Breakfast buffet exceptional as well. Quiet and lovely place we enjoyed very much.

Everything was perfect. It's very well designed like a home and no any missing facilities. Owners are very welcome. Room size was very good. General cleaning was perfect. I strongly recommended this place for short or long stays to your journey. Thanks for the owners of this place

Beautiful surroundings... you can walk in the forest. Impressive breakfast... strawberries is the name of the place :). Nice old house... some pieces of real history inside. Very clean. On the main road but quiet as well. Large restaurant at the location. A place where you could relax and forget about anything...

When we arrived at the property they could not find our booking due to a mistake from our booking agency. To help us out they offered to give us the presidential suite at another hotel which they have and it was more than excellent. Everything was perfect.

    The fjord is beautiful. There is hiking near by.

    The fjord is beautiful. There is hiking near by. Activity business right in town. Food options are limited unless you are RV/Caravan travel. No need to travel Troll Road when you are able to get to the overlook/ tourist center to have a good look. There is a need to travel Troll road for access to the north to avoid a long circle drive.

    The lodge was very comfortable and in a great location.

    The lodge was very comfortable and in a great location. The host was exceptional and answered so many of our questions about the area. Because it was out of season, Valldal was very quiet and there was only one place to get an evening meal. That was the only downside. The views from the waterside were amazing.
