We had an amazing view from our room. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the room itself was extremely cosy and warm. Sue and David were lovely hosts who prepared us a delicious breakfast and then showed us some of the animals on the farm. We wish we could have stayed more nights! A highly recommended gem of accommodation, surrounded by beautiful nature. The best part was when their adorable cat came into our room for some cuddles!

Set in a beautiful, peaceful, rural location. No microwave or shower, but the oven with all the pots and pans, and the bath with ample hot water, did the job equally as well and more authentic. Had an interesting chat with Bunny, who has been there all his very interesting life and which has been captured in a very interesting book. Managed a few chapters but will return for 2 nights within 12 months to finish the rest. I also enjoyed chatting to James the farm manager, a very friendly and amiable person. Good, honest country folk. The time there was one of those memorable experiences that I will always treasure.

Flat Hills Tourist Park is located on State Highway 1 in the beautiful Rangitikei Valley. Free private parking is available on site. All units have a flat-screen TV.
