What a lovely place. Beautiful kitchen and bathroom. Private home with fruit trees and sheep. Quiet and private. We stood outside at night, watching the stars.

My son and I enjoyed our brief stay there. It was a cure little cottage, very clean, quiet and safe. Would of love to base our stay there in NZ but we were only passing thru. Would highly recommend it. Michele stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. Loved it!

    We loved the friendliness of the hosts and the beautiful spaces and views. Our breakfast was divine and the hosts even treated us with cheese and crackers during the evening. We felt comfortable and warm and shall definitely make another booking.

    Tauwhare translates to ‘Place of Rest’ which is a perfect description of my stay here. The hosts were friendly and hospitable. They have made their space so cosy and homely which made me feel at ease straight away. It was tidy and clean, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touches (water and chocolate waiting in my room for me). I wish I could have stayed longer to make good use of the backyard space and to explore the neighbourhood. I would come back in a heartbeat!
