The property was clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are very clean. Heating was adequate as we arrived at the start of winter. It's easy to retrieve the keys to open the gate and door of the property. Do note that you'll need to climb the stairs entrance is on the second floor.

The hosts, Heather and Don, were very welcoming and accommodated our requests. My wife asked for a yoga mat, and she was allowed to borrow not only a yoga mat but also a bolster, blocks, etc. Each day, we discussed the best hiking options and weather conditions. All of the suggested walks were uncrowded and beautiful. We learned about Whitianga culture, food, and the seas and rivers surrounding it.

This place is perfect for your stay in Hahei. The location is perfect for the Cathedral Cove walk and the owner takes care of every single detail to make your stay as good as it gets. The place is beautiful and the pictures are far from reality in a great way, the views are from the actual window and are far better from what you can see. It’s very clean and comfortable and perfect for a couple to stay here. We actually wanted to extend our stay and the place was already booked.

Great location, next to the beach and in a walking distance from nice restaurants and bars. Lovely flowers everywhere, great bed, very comfortable and peaceful atmosphere. We had delicious breakfast on the cute little terrace. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for a great stay!
