Everything was perfect! View from house is georges. Possibility to sleep on floating island is amazing. Dinner and breakfest was fresh and delicious. Host made for us trip throught Uros Islands, it was unforgotable experience. Great memories!

This was an incredibly pleasant stay! The hosts took care of every detail, from organizing a taxi and boat transfer to helping us reach the place smoothly. We were in constant contact with them, which made it much easier to find our way in a new place. Dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, and the location itself was truly unique. It’s an experience we’ll never forget. We highly recommend staying here, the hosts are wonderful people who put their hearts into making sure everything is perfect. Incredible experience! We were a bit hesitant in booking this, because we were just in Puno for one day, but we were helped by the great people who run this experience to get transportation, and they also made dinner for us as we didn't have time to go to a restaurant. The food was really good, both the breakfast and the dinner! Our hosts were making sure that we had everything that we needed, and knew how to use all the facilities correctly, heat the room and enjoy the night we had there.

I highly recommend this beautiful stay in such a special spot, it is not everyday that you wake up on a floating island surrounded by a beautiful lake. Joel & his wife Luz were extremely helpful & welcoming from day 1. I arrived on Sunday evening from Cuzco (Peru Rail) and Joel arranged a taxi to pick me up from the station to the small port (15soles) where he picked me up on his boat. The room is massive and beautifully decorated with glass windows. They prepared a nice dinner and gave me a hot water bottle as it’s very chilly at night although you have plenty of duvets and blankets and a heater to keep you warm. The next morning I woke up to a beautiful scenery and Joel and Luz lent me the traditional custom and took me around the totora boat to show me some of the other islands, the local school and they medical center (the doctors come only twice a week so for emergencies they have to head to Puno). We also stopped to collect some fish from his fishing net which was their lunch that day. I was initially planning on staying one night only however as Joel explained to me the story of the islanders, how they live and the very welcoming expedience I extended my trip by an extra night. If you want to experience the real Uros lifestyle, with a very welcoming family this is the one for you!

The host/staff were very kind, always available and willing to help and prepared a tasty breakfast, which they also adapted to our needs. The hotel itself was quiet, yet close to the city center. We had everything in our room we needed (incl. soap, shampoo, heater, etc.). We will remember this hotel and the host especially as one of the best of our trip to Peru.

the staff were incredibly helpful and kind, helped me resolve a problem with my itinerary and made sure i did not get ripped off by the taxi driver. the complimentary cookie upon arrival is a grea touch, along with the tea and coffee. the bed is the widest i have ever seen, and the breakfast buffet is great.
