This place was such a charm! The house itself is tastefully appointed with all the facilities you need for a peaceful stay. Including a generator for power interruptions common for a remote area in the Philippines. The location cannot be beaten for a view of Mt Kanlaon… stunning morning views. But the stay would not have been the same without the personal touches added by the caretaker Ryan. Ryan went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He was also a perfect guide to visit secret natural wonders on the hike up the mountain/volcano. He was also able to arrange car hire for local sight seeing with a lot of great suggestions. It is quite isolated and as a foreigner Ryan was so helpful to provide cultural insights and translations for travelling in the area. Made us feel so much more at ease. Cannot recommend this place enough with Ryan as part of the package. He was respectful, helpful and responsive at all times. Thank you for everything. 🙏🏽

Even though they don't have people at the reception because we arrived late in the night, the guard was very accommodating and kind enough to check us in.

This is a good value little hotel with attached restaurant. It's a little distance from the "city", but if you don't mind to walk for 6 minutes from the bus terminal, that's no problem, or a very cheap tricycle away. Staff are wonderful! Owners friendly. They're still working on things as its new building so not everything is perfect, but nothing worth mentioning. For a westerner, I was satisfied.

Exceeded expectations. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food is very good serving from 7am till 7pm. Laundry service on site. Hot shower if you like and clean linen and towels on request. Near to shops, church and transport, and Splash Park, well worth a visit. This place is good for couples and family. Off the main road so it's quite at night and there is night security. We would be more than happy to return to Red Doorz near New Government Building. Thank you all for your hospitality and limitless information regarding places to visit and how to get there and our fabulous cook, Sim.

If you're looking for a relaxing vacation/ away from the city, but not too far, this is the place you would want to stay. The place is so close to good restaurants, Paul's specially, and other seafood restaurants. Our host, Jeanilyn, is exceptionally accommodating, she's there whenever you need anything. She's our tour guide/ chauffeur, wherever you want to go, also our photographer, I might add. Overall experience is very good. Best place this trip in all the hotels we've stayed.
