Amazing view, super friendly staff. Great value for money. It's not a top luxury hotel, but it's wonderful. The breakfast is so-so, but for the price it's extremely good value for money.

The room was spotless, the bed comfortable and the view amazing. Breakfast was included with a good selection and endless coffee. We had a meal in the restaurant which was excellent and great value for money. The area is picturesque with Geres national park, a 15/20 minute drive away and the Sao Bento Church, 5 minutes drive away. We stayed for 2 nights off season, so it was quiet. The couple that run the hotel couldn't do enough for us, both spoke English, so my faltering Portuguese was not a problem. It was my wifes birthday, a cake was provided and they sang happy birthday, which was a lovely touch. This summed the owners up! There's a carpark outside so it had everything for me. I definitely recommend this hotel.
