Very nice chalet located in a calm area, where guests can enjoy nature and beautiful views. The chalet is equipped with everything needed for cooking. There is good internet and a TV. All rooms have air conditioning in case the temperature gets really high. We were lucky — it wasn’t too hot, and simply opening the windows was enough to keep a comfortable temperature. There is a barbecue zone. The owner responded quickly to any questions that came up during our stay. The beach is just 6 minutes away by car, so the family can enjoy swimming or relaxing on a SUP. A small town, Montalegre, is 13 minutes away by car and offers some cafes and restaurants. There are also some small local restaurants near the chalet. Porto and Braga are about 1.5 hours away by car — both are very interesting cities and worth a visit. If you're looking for a calm vacation, this place is for you.

Arrived super early but room was ready so let me check in. Off road parking within the grounds for motorbike and able to park at rear out of sight although it’s a quiet place, beautiful views, good breakfast and room was very spacious clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful. Nearest super market was around 11km away. Petrol station just up the road and there’s a restaurant around 1.5k or so up the road that does lunch and evening meals.

My friend and I were the only guests for the two nights that we were there. It made the experience super special as we were able to talk at length with Miguel and his neighbors about Portuguese culture. The place was clean, the view was unbeatable, and the service was superb. While the food prices were high, it was understandable as the majority of the food was grown/raised right there. We ended up buying honey as well as alheira, my favorite food during the visit! The breakfast was great and the staff was very accommodating. I wish I could have spent a week there!

We had an amazing experience here- we didn’t want to leave! Gitte was a wonderful host, the breakfast was great, and the views were breathtaking. All of the personal touches in the oficina make this place feel like a home away from home. Our favorite place in Portugal.

Such a warm welcome from the host family when we arrived and so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Wonderful accommodation in the most beautiful location. Our room was on the ground floor with a terrace and steps to the pool overlooking the mountains. Peaceful but close enough to the small town for restaurants and shops. Parking is directly outside the property on the street but very safe. We initially booked 2 nights but loved it so much we added a third. Recommend buying a bottle of wine from there.
