We had a wonderful time at Pousada Castelo de Estremoz! It was the best of our Pousada-tour through Alentejo, absolut a classic one with a beautiful atmosphere! And not renovated to death!!! The room was top,the beds perfect and also the service. We loved the hidden spaces in that building: the tower and the secret chapel on the first floor :) and of course the destination, everything could be done by walking. Highest recommendation – we are coming back! p.s.: stunning breakfast in a stunning room!

The room we had was big, clean, with a nice view on the Plaza and close to the centre of the town. The breakfast was a feast for us because this was the first time a hotel offered it. We could park or bicycles in a garage and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommended!

Beautifully designed b&b with a great restaurant, & delicious breakfast in the centre of Estromoz. Everything about Casa do Gadanha is glorious - and I think we’ll be back in the summer when the pool and the rooftop bar are open.
