It was a wonderful visit to Casas de Faia. The location and setting and the quality of the accommodation is amazing. Duarte and his family were incredibly kind and wonderful hosts. There is a beautiful pool to cool off in the heat and you are surrounded by wildlife on the farm and greeted by two lovely dogs. Breakfast was lovely and a really well arranged. A superb stay. Comfortable hotel in the center of Portalegre. Very warm and hospitable staff. They really make you feel at home, and go the extra mile to cater for all your needs! We got a big and cozy room, and really enjoyed the small balcony. Breakfast is good, with a nice selection of local pastries.

I was so pleased to stay here. I arrived after dark, by motorcycle, and my original intended location to stay didn't meet my needs, so I booked online with Carlos, and it was less then 2 minutes for his response, which I was thankful for, because I had a long day of riding and just wanted to get off the bike and gear unpacked. Carlos met me within 5 minutes after connecting to bring keys, and show me access. And was very helpful in directing me towards some places to eat in which I found an amazing local restaurant and fantastic meal. The apartment was so spacious and well maintained, very clean. What impressed me so much about being in the centre of Portalegre, and the location of this apartment, it was so quiet, the most quiet neighbourhood I ve ever stayed in, I slept with window open and was so peaceful. The next morning Carlos met me to obtain key and directed me once again to a great spot for breakfast items. I Hope to return and I would stay here, to explore the beautiful city of Portalegre.
